About Global Islami Bank PLC

Global Islami Bank PLC, formerly known as NRB Global Bank, began its journey in Bangladesh in 2013 as one of the fourth-generation private commercial banks, approved by Bangladesh Bank. It was established with the vision of contributing to the national economy by utilizing the expertise and investment of Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). The bank officially started operations on October 23, 2013, with the inauguration of its first branch in Gulshan, Dhaka.
